Problem:
The client used Go High Level (GHL) for lead tracking and client scheduling. However, they needed a streamlined way to:
Have leads schedule appointments via GHL
Automatically push those leads into ClickUp for task management and workflow tracking
Update the lead status in GHL after internal follow-up and re-enter them into a marketing email sequence
Solution:
Designed and implemented a multi-stage automation using Zapier:
When a new appointment was booked in Go High Level, Zapier triggered the creation of a new task in ClickUp
Each task entered a custom lead workflow, progressing through qualification, follow-up, and documentation stages
Once the task reached a final stage, Zapier sent the updated status back to Go High Level, where:
The original contact record was updated
The lead was automatically enrolled in a targeted email campaign workflow
